1. Approval to purchase, as a sole source, one washer and two dryers from Southeastern Laundry Equipment Sales in the amount of $36,433.00. Southeastern Laundry Equipment Sales is the only authorized UniMac distributor for our area. The Jail currently has Unimac washers and dryers and utilizes Southeastern Laundry for repair and service needs. To maintain standardization, it is requested that Southeastern Laundry be utilized for purchase and repair needs related to laundry equipment for the jail. Additional documentation is provided. 2. Approval of the Adopt-A-Mile Litter Removal Agreement with VP-10-FCPOA of NAS JAX, to allow litter removal along Wells Road beginning just after the railroad crossing and ending near the Orange Park Mall, for a term of two years, at no cost to the County. Funding Source: NA (A. Altman)
3. Approval of a budget transfer in the amount of $20,000.00 from the Free Library Fund reserve for contingency to the library materials account. This transfer out of reserves for contingency is necessary to replenish funds that were reallocated to cover the start-up costs of public printing in the County’s libraries. 7. Approval of Second Renewal to Bid No. 11/12-1, Tree Trimming and Removal Services, to American Tree Surgeons. This will effectively extend the bid for a one year period with no increase in price. American Tree Surgeons provides tree removal and related services in roadways, right-of-ways, easements, and County owned property on an as needed basis Countywide. Services include removal of trees, stump grinding, stump removal, tree trimming, clean up, and disposal of trees and debris, as well as technical assistance.
