THEY WERE GETTING LOST AND NOT KNOWING WHERE TO GO SO HE CALLED THE COUNTY OFFICE TO REPORT THE MISSING SIGNS OFTEN TUESDAY NOVEMBER 1ST. HE FINALLY GOT TO IN WILLIAM GOLD IN THE CLAY COUNTY ROAD DEPARTMENT AND HAD A GREAT CONVERSATION WITH HIM. AND HE ADVISED THAT HE WOULD WORK ON GETTING THEM REPLACED BUT IT MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE WHILE BECAUSE OF STAFF SHORTAGES. WELL TRUE TO WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT MR. GOLD THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. BY SATURDAY AN EMPLOYEE WAS OUT REPLACING THOSE SIGNS. HE WANTED TO COMPLIMENT MR. GOLD SO I WANTED TO PASS ALONG THOSE KUDOS PUBLICLY THAT WE APPRECIATE THE SPOIF RESPONSIVEO OUR CITIZENS AND OBVIOUSLY WHEN WE CAN WE WANT TO BE RESPONSIVE AND WE KNOW THAT OUR PUBLIC WORKS AND OUR ROAD DEPARTMENT ARE VERY RESPONSIVE SO WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO.
