OF FIRE STATION AND IN THESE CASES BECAUSE THEY DON'T PURELY SERVE NEW DEVELOPMENT WE HAVE TO ALLOCATE A SHARE TO SERVE EXISTING DEVELOPMENT SO NEW DEVELOPMENT IS NOT PAYING FOR EVERYTHING. THE STUDY ALLOCATES THOSE COSTS. AND WE HAVE TO IDENTIFY THE FUNDING SHARED THAT CANNOT BE PAID FOR WITH THE IMPACT FEES SO ESSENTIALLY NEEDS TO BE FUNDED WITH ANY FUNDING SOURCE OTHER THAN THE IMPACT FEES AND FINALLY WE CAN'T CALCULATE THE FEE SCHEDULE BY LOCATING THE CALLS DEVELOP IT OR 1,000 SQUARE FEET OF LAND USE. >> SO WHAT WERE THE CATEGORIES WE WERE LOOKING AT IN THIS STUDY. WE WERE LOOKING AT GOVERNMENT JAILS CONSTITUTIONAL FACILITIES, LAW ENFORCEMENT, PARKS, AND LIBRARY. FOR EXAMPLE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIRE SERVICE AREAS INCLUDE SOME OF THE INCORPORATED CITIES. WHEN WE DO THAT, WE NEED TO INCLUDE RESIDENTS AND WORKERS FROM THOSE JURISDICTIONS. BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY WERE LOOKING AT A PLANNING HORIZON AND AS YOU CAN SEE THERE'S QUITE A BIT OF GROWTH PROJECTED IN THE COUNTY. RESIDENTS AND ALMOST 102,000 WORKERS. SO WITH THAT MANY PEOPLE MOVING IN AND WORKING FOR THE COUNTY WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE SERVICES AND FACILITIES TO HOUSE THOSE SERVICES. I MENTIONED THIS EARLIER. THIS BREAKS DOWN THE APPROACHES THAT ONE COULD USE. THE FIRST APPROACH, THE EXISTING INVENTORY AND UNDER THIS BE IDEA WE CAN QUANTIFY THE CURRENT FACILITIES, AND THEN SIMPLY EXTEND THAT SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE TO NEW DEVELOPMENT AS IT OCCURS. A GREAT EXAMPLE, IS PARK ACRES WEEKEND SOME OF THE TOTAL PARKS. CALCULATE THE RESIDENCE, AND FOR ANY ADDITIONAL ONES WE WILL HAVE THE SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE. THE OTHER APPROACHES USING THE STUDY.
