I GO OVER THERE AND PLAY, AND THE FAMILIES ARE, I CANNOT BELIEVE WE HAVE THREE COURTS FOR HIGH-LEVEL PLAY AND THE OTHER COURTS HAVE FAMILIES OUT THERE PLAYING. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE OUTSIDE PLAY IS AMAZING. IT IS HEALTHY. WHEN THEY OPENED UP THE GATES OF COVID-19 I PLAYED EVERY DAY, NO ISSUES. IT IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY SPORT.
THERE IS I TRAVEL ALL OVER THE COUNTRY TO PLAY IN TOURNAMENTS. YOU REALLY ARE MISSING AN OPPORTUNITY IF YOU ARE NOT CONSIDERING PUTTING IN A PICKLE BALL FACILITY.

IT IS NOT JUST THE PHYSICAL HEALTH THAT IS INVOLVED IT IS THE SOCIAL HEALTH AND PARTICULARLY FOR SENIORS WHO REALLY AND CLAY COUNTY, THERE'S NOT THAT MANY THINGS FOR PEOPLE TO DO YOU CAN SIT ON THE CHAIR AND ROCK YOU CAN GO FISHING OR YOU CAN, IF YOU ARE WEALTHY ENOUGH YOU CAN HAVE A BOAT. THERE ARE CERTAIN NEIGHBORHOODS AND CLAY COUNTY THAT DO HAVE PICKLE BALL COURTS AND THOSE PLACES ARE PACKED.
FLEMING ISLAND IS PACKED, EVERY PLACE THAT HAS PICKLE BALL COURTS ARE PACKED BUT NOT EVERYONE CAN USE THOSE. I THINK ANY EFFORT THE COUNTY CAN MAKE TO PUT IN PICKLE BALL COURTS PREFERABLY EVERYWHERE THE COUNTY WOULD BE WONDERFUL SO I APPRECIATE THAT.

THEY RAN A STORY ABOUT THE TWO HIT-AND-RUN BICYCLE DEATHS WE HAD OVER THE WEEKEND ON COUNTY ROAD 218 AND APPARENTLY OVERNIGHT LAST NIGHT THERE WAS ANOTHER PEDESTRIAN IN ANOTHER LOCATION ON 218 THAT ENDED UP AS THEY FOUND HIM AND GOT HIM TO THE HOSPITAL, IT APPEARS HE WAS ALSO A VICTIM OF A HIT AND RUN AS A PEDESTRIAN. SHE WAS ASKING ABOUT SAFETY. I JUST STRESSED TO HER THAT, SAFETY IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO THE BOARD AND WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUNDING FOR TRANSPORTATION AND BICYCLES AND WE UNDERSTAND PART OF THE CHALLENGES EIGHT RURAL ENVIRONMENT MOVING INTO A SUBURBAN ENVIRONMENT IS ALWAYS A CHALLENGE.
