I TOOK A DRIVE DOWN TO ZERO NINE SANDRIDGE, 218, EVERY PLACE I LOOK IN CLAY COUNTY AROUND LAKE AS VERY WE ARE BUILDING.

IN A WAY THAT IS GOOD BUT IT IS ALSO GIVING US A PROBLEM, A DRAINAGE PROBLEM.

OUR LAKES ARE THE RECEIVERS OF WHAT WASHES OFF OF EVERY OTHER COMMUNITY.

YOU PUT IN SOMETHING CALLED SAFE BOXES, A LOT OF YEARS AGO. THOSE BOXES ARE CONCRETE.

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CLEANED MONTHLY BY THE COUNTY. AS FAR AS I KNOW, NO ONE HAS EVER CLEANED THEM. THAT MEANS WHEN THEY OVERFLOW THE TRASH GOES INTO THE LAKE.

THAT IS NOT HELPFUL. IF A NEW COMMUNITY ON LAKE ORION IS TO BE CONSIDERED, I HOPE YOU WILL THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT THE DAMS. THEY ARE ROLE PARTS IN CLAY.

YOU ON THE TOP SECTION OF THE ROADWAY. IT IS AN EXTREMELY BAD CONDITION. YOU DO NOT OWN THE UNDERNEATH PART.

IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED INTO 20 YEARS I'VE LIVED THERE. THAT DOES NOT SAY MUCH FROM HER COUNTY BECAUSE WE DO PAY OUR TAXES PRETTY WELL OUT THERE. THAT IS NOT A ROAD THAT CAN ACCEPT DRUG SPIRIT TRUCKS OF ANY KIND. ALSO, EVEN IF THERE WOULD BE ANOTHER ROADWAY INTO THE LAKE RYAN COMMUNITY IF ONE IS APPROVED, THE OUTGOING TRAFFIC IS MOST LIKELY TO -- I'M SORRY, WILL CONTINUE TO USE OUR ROADWAYS WHICH WILL INCREASE OUR TRAFFIC. WE USED TO BE A COMMUNITY OF SENIORS SPIRIT ALL OF THAT IS CHANGING. WE HAVE NO SIDEWALKS. CHILDREN ARE GOING TO SCHOOL NOW AT VERY EARLY HOURS. LARGE TRUCKS CANNOT SEE THEM. ALL OF THIS IS AN ISSUE.

WE HAVE NO CITY LIGHTS. ALL I AM SAYING IS, I AM NOT HERE TO STOP A COMMUNITY, I AM HERE TO SAY PLEASE MAKE IT A SMALL, LIMITED COMMUNITY AND FIND ANOTHER WAY IN BESIDE

SUMMER ROADWAYS BECAUSE WE CANNOT AFFORD THE TRAFFIC. SECONDLY, AND PROBABLY JUST AS IMPORTANT, IF IT IS COMING IN, THE SEPTIC SYSTEMS ALL SHOULD BE REPLACED SOONER OR LATER BY CITY SEWER. IT IS NOT GOOD TO HAVE THOSE TYPES OF THINGS NEAR AND AROUND A LAKE THAT RECEIVES MUCH WATER FLOW. THAT IS ALSO A CONSIDERATION I HOPE IS GIVEN A LOT OF CONDITIONING BECAUSE IF YOU BRING IN CITY SEWERS THAT WILL BE HELPFUL AND PREVENT MORE SEWAGE GOING TO THE LAKE. BUT LEAD DESIGNER IS MICHAEL BAKER. ON THE 14TH THE TEAM HELD A JOINT PROJECT KICKOFF MEETING WHICH BEGAN THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PROCESS.

THE PROJECTS WERE ISSUED MULTIPLE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR EACH PROJECT.

IT SERVES AS THEIR NOTICE TO PROCEED FOR THE ENGINEER DESIGN CONSULTING SERVICES.

T CASWELL BOOK COUNTY FINALIZED NEGOTIATIONS WIT -- WE WILL COVR RECOMMENDATIONS LATER ON UNDER ITEM NUMBER NINE. FOR SEYMOUR GROUP NUMBER ONE WHICH IS PROJECTS 3-4 BOOK COUNTY COMPLETED NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE CONSULTANT SERVICES AND STAFF RECOMMENDED AWARDS THAT WERE APPROVED. ON JULY 30 THE TEAM HELD A KICKOFF MEETING TO START NEGOTIATIONS. THIS IS INFRASTRUCTURE SOUTH. THIS IS UNDER RFQ.

FOR THE LAST OF THE PROJECTS THE TEAM IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LANDOWNER CONTINUED DRAFTING THE AGREEMENT. THE OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE WG HIKE CONTINUES WITH THEIR INVESTIGATION THE TECHNICAL WORK AS WELL AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PACKAGE WHICH WILL BE ISSUED FOR THE DESIGN LOW BID REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. OVERALL THE TEAM HELD OUR THIRD QUARTERLY UPDATE WITH THE COUNTY SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP BOTH UPDATED ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. NEXT MONTH WE WILL WORK WITH THE DEVELOPERS FOR JOINT DESIGN CONSTRUCTION. WE WILL HAVE BUT NOTICE TO PROCEED FOR THE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AS WELL AS A NOTICE TO PROCEED FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO THE CONSULTANT SPIRIT ALSO WE WILL CONTINUE NEGOTIATIONS ON THE PHASE ONE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AND LASTLY FOR THE OUTREACH COMMUNICATIONS THE TEAM WILL START A NEW OUTREACH COMMITTEE.

THE PURPOSE IS FOR COORDINATION BETWEEN ACTIVITIES IN AN EFFORT TO LESSEN IMPACTS OF THE TRAVELING PUBLIC. THIS IS AN ADVANCE. IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLKS AT THE STATE WROTE CONTRACTORS, UTILITY PROVIDERS, COUNTY STAFF, AND REPRESENTATIVES.
