AND HAVING A LOT OF DIALOGUE WITH THE ASSOCIATIONS. ASKING WHAT WORED, WHAT WASN'T WORKING, DID A LOT OF LISTENING, DID A LOT OF BRAINSTORMING.
WHAT WE DID IS WE ASKED COUNTIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE WHAT THEY DID.
WE FOUND THERE WERE FEE RANGES PER REGISTRANT RANGING FROM $20-$50 PER REGISTRANT.
FOR ANY GIVEN SEASON. SO, WE ALSO LOOKED AT THE LEVELS OF SERVICE.

THOSE ARE THE 10 YEAR LEASES. THOSE ARE ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE PAID STAFF.
THE YMCA, THE CLAY POWELL AND CLAY COUNTY SOCCER. SO, THAT'S WHAT WERE PROPOSING RIGHT NOW. SUBLEASES WILL ONLY COME THROUGH THE COUNTY.
RIGHT NOW WERE GOING TO WALK YOU THROUGH THE DECISION THAT A BROAD OVERVIEW OF EACH OF THE OPTIONS FOR THE LEASES. SO YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF HOW WE GOT TO THE COMPROMISE.
OPTION ONE IS THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THE GROUNDS MAINTENANCE.
THAT'S A HUGE SAVINGS TO THE COUNTY. WE DON'T HAVE THAT IN GROUNDS MAINTENANCE EXPENSE. WE CAN ALSO LEAD DIRECTOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE CREW TO OTHER PARK PROJECTS AND OTHER COUNTY PROJECTS. THE PROFIT SHARE ON III PARTY SUBLEASES WOULD BE, WOULD EXIST. THE CONS FOR THIS IS AT THE COST BURDEN IS ON THOSE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATIONS AND SOME BEAR THAT COST.
THE RISKS ARE THE FIELDS NOT BE MAINTAINED PROPERLY. WE'LL LOSE OUR QUALITY CONTROL IN THE LOCHS OF CONSISTENCY IN THE PARKS APPEARANCE WHICH IS PART OF OUR COUNTY BRAND.
